She was predeceased by: her parents, Glee Lewis and Olive Girtman Lewis; her husband Lawrence D. Jefferson; and her siblings, Marion "Sonny" Lewis, Bessie Gregory, Ann Bankman, Mae Jackson, Betty Eilks, Mary Morgan and JoAnn Obptande.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Jefferson (Sherri) of Tallula and Randy Jefferson of Petersburg; and her sister Peggy Sinclair (Ed) of Petersburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
