It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Firmin Elgart (Petersburg, Illinois), born in Urepel, Aquitaine, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anna, John Batiest, Balkrian, Antite Dominic, Jean, Pierre and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Fay Young; his son Firmin Rene Elgart (Deloris) of Yukon, OK; his granddaughter Kristy; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Mason, Daylen and Samantha; and his sister Pascale Antchagno. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
