She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Baker and Merle Baker (Fleming); her husband William Robert Hicks; her former husband Edward Everett Buxton; and her brothers, Harold, Dwight, Wayne and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her sons, Philliph Roy Buxton (Iris) of Petersburg, IL and Larry Kent Buxton (Cindy) of Sullivan, IL; her stepdaughter Connie Lipe (Gary) of Mt. Vernon; and her siblings, Virgil Baker (Berniece) of Mattoon and Janiece Cox of Dallas. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
