He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold D. Almquist and Gunhild Almquist of Essex. He is survived by: his friends, Janet Walker of Essex, IA and Don "Buck" Holmes of Essex, IA; and his close friend Linda Brown. He is also survived by six nephews; four nieces; and five cats.
