He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Petzing and Margaret Petzing (Parr); and his sister Marjorie Viehl. He is survived by: his wife Helen Herrmann of Peru; his children, Janice Hoge (Terry) of Wenona, Dale Petzing (Connie) of Lafayette, IN and Lynn Bosteels (Victor) of Lecanto, FL; his grandson Brad Petzing; his stepgranddaughters, Melissa Golden, Kristin Bosteels and Elizabeth Lajoie (Brad); and his sister Dorothy Dippel of Granville. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, Peru or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
