With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth W. Schmidt (Peru, Illinois), who passed away on March 17, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Schmidt and Rose Schmidt (Maheux); his brother Richard; his father-in-law Otto Fiedler; and his brothers-in-law, John Sheldon Grove and David Burash.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burash; his children, Richard Schmidt (Debbie) of LaSalle, Darryl Schmidt (Tonya Jordan) of LaSalle, Jill Adams of Hawaii, Jeff Ashlock (Chris Coan) of Wheeling, Jen Lambert (Will Price) of Peru, Ed Miller of LaSalle, Nikki Sondgeroth (Robert Griffith) of LaSalle and Tracy Mennie of LaSalle; his sister Sharon Washkowiak of LaSalle; his mother-in-law Mary Fiedler; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Grove of LaSalle and Edward Burash (Peggy) of Mark. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
