We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2022, at the age of 102, Carl J. Carlson of Peru, Illinois, born in Magnolia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Carlson and Mary Carlson (Smith); his wife Helen M. Peterson; his siblings, Ella Mobeck and Wallace Carlson; his son John Carlson; and his granddaughter Angela Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Carlson (Patty) of The Villages, FL, Philip Carlson (Sherrie) of Granville and Christine Meinhold (Vaun) of Streator; his daughter-in-law Kalynn Carlson of Aurora; and his grandchildren, Dean Carlson, Dawn Williams, Wendy Harris, Melanie Hundley, Krista Carlson, Tyson Meinhold, Lance Meinhold, Brian Carlson, Tim Carlson and Brett Carlson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
