He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Bratton and Gloria Bratton (Duffy); and his son Jermaine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Bratton; his sons, Levell Smith of Peoria and Robert Smith of Peoria; his stepsons, Patrick Skinner of Peoria and Joshua Welch of Peoria; and his sisters, Dorothy Smith of Peoria, Theresa Roddy of Peoria, Helen Rodgers of Kansas City, Edna Holder (Buck) of Little Rock and Brenda Bratton of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
