She is survived by: her son David Gorenz (Kristy) of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Barbara Ting (Tom) of Indianapolis, IN., Elizabeth Hiser (Dan), Emily Moore (Paul), Daniel Gorenz (Annika), Stephanie Ting and Samantha Ting; her brother Max P. Hoerr; and her siblings-in-law, Marianne Roszell and Elmer Johnson. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Midwest Food Bank.
