He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hans J. Frei and Marie Burgi-Frei; his wife Sharon; his son Hans P. Frei (Anita); and his grandchildren, Ethan, Adelyn and Aiden. He was also cherished by two sons, two daughter in-laws, and four grandchildren.
