He is survived by: his wife Debra Hunt; his children, Valinda Marie Peters of Pekin, Virgil Peters Jr. of Pekin and Vincent Robert Peters (Jennifer) of Pekin; his stepdaughter Rachel Embry of Manito; his grandchildren, Payton Peters, Maria Jewell (Josh), Luke Peters (Candice Heart), Shonna Peters, Brock Peters, Brent Peters, Virgil Peters, Bryson Embry, Bella Bezero, Ronald Felles, Garnet Felles, Violet Felles and Rocky Zumwalt; and his great grandchild Jacob Embry.
