She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelbert L Gardner and Jessie Gardner (Little); and her siblings, Bryce E Gardner, Jack R Gardner, Hope Prescott and Marjorie Swyers.

She is survived by: her children, James P. Smith (Aprile), Scott M. Smith (Elaine), Jill Bingham (Pat) and Rachel Schenck (Mike); her grandchildren, Lucas, Stacie, Nathan, Andrew, Peter, Austin, Cody, Alyssa and Jordan; and her great grandchildren, Kailash, Jackson, Lily, Surya, Peyton and Nora.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Midwest or the Salvation Army.
