He was predeceased by: his brother Eric Thomas Ziegler. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Ziegler and Sheila Ziegler (Pack); his children, Thomas Eric Glass of Pekin, Serenity Glass of Pekin and Ava Glass of Pekin; and his grandfather Ron Stockman of North Carolina. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset funeral costs.
