He was predeceased by: his grandmother Carrie Higgins; his mother Marie Stephens-Higgins; and his daughter Debra Jean Higgins. He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Higgins-Martin, Janice Higgins, Leslie Higgins and Shannon Higgins; his grandchildren, Dan Daniels, David Daniels, Diona Daniels, Malayia Higgins, Oliver Kenyon and Inara Kenyon; and his caregivers, Julie Roots, Thad Franklin, Shannon Higgins, Bryton Hussemann, Kwoneisha Hicks-Roots, Ilya Richardson and Malayia Higgins.
