He is survived by: his children, John Raymond Peters, Jr. of Bartonville, Jill Marie Bishop (Jim) of Germantown and Sherlyn Rene Cleaver (Rich) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Meagan Bishop (Zach MacLachlan) of Tampa, Drew Bishop (Lauren) of Collierville, Madison Bishop of Germantown Tennessee, Kaitlyn Cleaver (Kilyan Dougherty) of Springfield, Alyssa Kraft (Nick) of Bloomington and Hayley Cleaver of Pekin; and his great grandchildren, Calvin Bishop, Rowan Dougherty and Quinn Dougherty. He is also survived by many friends and neighbors.
