It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Louise Hancock of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Helen Louise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Helen Louise. Though Helen Louise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis and Margaret Edith Kessler (Grant). She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Robert Hancock, Sr.; and her children, Thomas Hancock, Jr. (Karen) of Pekin, Randy Hancock (Trina) of East Peoria, John Hancock of Peoria, Teresa Runyon (Lynn) of Pekin and Heather Foster (Mike) of Pekin. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pekin First Church of the Nazarene (3514 Broadway St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
