He is survived by: his son Erich Zimmerman (Jennifer) of Pekin; his granddaughter Emma Zimmerman of Chicago; his stepgrandsons, Anthony Petrone, Jr. of Pekin and Tyler Petrone of Pekin; and his siblings, James Zimmerman of Trivoli and Janet Siemens of Alberta, Canada..
