She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Murphy, and Julia Ann Murphy, Sr. (Thomas); her spouse Shawn Patrick Martis; her stepfather Walter L. Waremburg; her son Ryan Martis; and her sister Christine Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Kennedy (Sarah) of Pekin, Rachel Cluck (Josh) of Pekin and Wesley Brown of Washington; her grandchildren, Julia Kennedy and Piper Rosenberg; her siblings, James E. Murphy Jr. (Sandra) of Green Valley, Kathy Reatherford (Dan) of Pekin and Marcella Baugher of Pekin; and her friend Brenda "Lovey" Hilst of Pekin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
