She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Krone. She is survived by: her children, Gail Burkhart (Donald), Charles Krone, John Krone (Colleen), David Krone (Linda), Lynn Rollins (Scott) and Kurt Krone (Chris).

The family would like to thank the nursing and hospice staff who took such loving care of Joanne in her final days and request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Paws Chicago Animal Shelter.
