It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Vits Jr. of Pana, Illinois, born in Oconee, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Frank and Opal Margaret; and his sisters, Rosemary Beck and Wanda Schmitz. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Betty Ann Keller; his wife Betty Ann Vits of Pana; his children, Connie Fribley (Scott) of Pana and Rick Vits (Kathy) of Oconee; his grandsons, Tim Vits (Michelle) of Yorkville, Illinois, David Vits of Montgomery, Minnesota and Brad Vits (Molly) of Taylorville, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Breanna Vits, Paige Vits, Baila Vits, RyLee Vits, Astrid Vits and Ogden Joseph Vits; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Becca, Jessie and Jack.
