He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Laukaitis and Atha Laukaitis (Kloever); his wife Mary Rochkes; his stepfather Atha Burrus (Emmett); his siblings, Eugene "Kitie" Laukaitis and Nancy Batton; and his half-brother Gregory Burrus.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Laukaitis (Christine) of Springfield, IL, Lisa Dagen of Pana, IL and Jennifer Kessler (Curtis) of Virden, IL; and his grandchildren, Alexanne Dagen, Evan Kessler, Ryan Kessler, Randolph Burrus, Holly Harlow and Monica Zucco.
Memorials in Johnnie's honor may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School or Pana Community Hospital Foundation and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
