He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvil Newton and Maggie May West (Fought); and his siblings, Orvil West, Scottie West and Shirley Crowe.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy West of Pana; his sons, Robert West (Diana) of Pana and Donald West (Janet) of Pana; and his grandchildren, Michelle Calhoun (Charles), Nathan West (Jennifer), Nicholas West, Stephanie Miller (Joseph), Levi West (Holly), Kelsey West, Kimberly West, Maggie West and Logan West. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
