With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Brian Hay of Pana, Illinois, born in Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Brian Hay to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Hay and Waneta Hay (Flack); and his brother William Hay. He is survived by: his spouse Jody Shank; his daughter Ashley Ligori (Tony); his brothers, Michael Hay (Toni) of Piper City, IL, Daniel Hay of Danville, IL and Charles Hay (Nancy) of Gibson City, IL; his parents-in-law, Donald and Dionne Shank; and his sisters-in-law, Lori Gwaltney (Dale) and Stacy Reinhofer (Rob). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Memorials in Dave's honor may be made to the Shelby or Christian County Humane Society or the Pana Sports Foundation and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
