It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tom A. Makeever of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Makeever and Elaine Makeever. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn F. Makeever; his daughter Emily Makeever; and his brothers, Ray Makeever (Linda), Jerry Makeever (Susan), Ron Makeever (Diane), Bob Makeever (Susan) and Michael Makeever. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be directed to St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa, or to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
