He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blum and Marie Blum (Lauth); his wife Joan Mary Johnson; and his brothers, Leo, Walter, Anthony and Leonard Blum.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Calvert (Glenn) of Hinckley, Darlene Wiltfong (Jim) of Ottawa, Michael Peterson (Lori) of Sheridan, Connie Wiltfong (Tim) of Palm Cost, FL, Cathy Blum of Lakeland, FL and Oliver Blum (Wendy) of Ottawa. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Light Ways Hospice in Joliet.
