He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Acton of Oswego, IL; his daughter Elizabeth Anne Buchmeier (Brian); his grandchildren, Jacob Gregory Smith and Kathryn Rebecca Smith; his siblings, Phillip Walter Acton (Vicki) and Ann Leslie Jones (JB); and also, Jake and Katie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
