He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleuterio Sandoval and Micaela Sandoval; his wife Natalia R. Sandoval; and his siblings, Simon Sandoval, Maria Quintanille (Francisco) and Juanita Rivera (Geronimo).
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Rios, Oralia Aleman, Benito Sandoval, Jr. (Rosemary), Lilia Reyna (Oscar), Roberto Sandoval (Norma) and David Sandoval; his siblings, Cristina Davila, Margarita Duarte and Celestino Sandoval (Esperanza); his sister-in-law Tomasita Sandoval; and his grandchildren, Melinda Rios (Salvador Salinas), Edgar Rios, Jr. (Lilliana), Marivel Frank (Kevin), Sheila Schuler (Douglas), Elroy Aleman, Mariah Rogers, Nicholas Garcia (Kristin), Benito Sandoval, III (Lexi), Michael Sandoval (Lupita), Lora Reyna, Roberto Sandoval, Jr., Ricardo Sandoval, Steven Sandoval, Joshua Sandoval, Urisla Sandoval and Andrew Sandoval. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
