He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Griesemer and Lottie Griesemer (Gerber); his wife Gaye Dawn Griesemer; his siblings, Glen "Red", Ethel and Roy; and his grandchildren, Jesse Earnst and Niki Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Cheri Taylor (Terry) of Olney, Ken Griesemer (Teria) of Olney, Jon Griesemer (Amanda) of Olney and Don Griesemer of McLeansboro; his grandchildren, Mandi Pokojski, Dusty Earnst, Josh Griesemer, Carson Griesemer, Tara Griesemer and Layne Griesemer; and his siblings, Garnet, Helen and Dale. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
