He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Dale and Helen Regina Miller (Weber); and his siblings, Willis Miller, Jr. (Wid), Gilbert Miller and Helen Swinson (Taddy).
He is survived by: his close friend Darca Hatten; his children, James B. Miller, Jr. (Mary) of Palo Alto, Patrick A. Miller (Tami) of Fort Collins, Sara L. Miller Acosta (Leo Acosta) of Chicago and Matthew J. Miller (Gail) of Los Gatos, California.; and his grandchildren, Sam Miller, James B. Miller III, John Miller, Aidan Acosta, Mary Miller Eberhardt and Adela Acosta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
