He is survived by: his wife Lesley Elder (Fryman) of Olney; his children, Patience Elder of Olney, Daniel Theodore Elder II of Yale, IL and Gloria Faye Elder of Hiawasee, GA; his siblings, MacArthur Elder (Vicki), James Elder (Mary) and Sarah Kramer (John); and his sister-in-law Vicki Elder. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
