She was predeceased by: her daughter Lisa Byington (late Bob); her parents, Bert Ellis and Vera Ellis; and her siblings, Estelle Thomas and James Ellis (late Dean).

She is survived by: her husband George Parker Nutzell; her children, George Michael "Mike" Nutzell (Amy) and Teresa Peter (Jon); her grandchildren, Natalie Nutzell Morales (AJ) and Nicholas "Nick" Nutzell; and her brother William Eugene Ellis (late Anne).
