He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Parmenter and Thomas Parmenter; his siblings, Janet Grace and John Parmenter Sr.; his daughter Judy Chittum; his granddaughter Zoey Lockwood; and his stepson Chuck Saft.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Bob Parmenter (Sherry) and Susan Bell (Todd); his stepson Bill Saft; his son-in-law David Chittum; his stepdaughters, Debbie Waugh (Glenn) and Laura Schatz; and his brother David Parmenter (Renee). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
