He is survived by: his children, Massimo Gay (Laurie), Danielle Gay (David Barton) and Simone Gay (Ralph); his grandchildren, Arianna, Nehemiah, Corissa and Brielle; his stepgrandchildren, Rebekah, Rachael, Fiona, Michael, Gavin, Sarah Grace, Jude, Ayva, Blake, Phoebe, Sixto, Melvin, Gail Lebowitz, Adelle Gloger, Clary Micheli and Morena Montanari; and his friend Alice Largen.
