It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jacks of OFallon, Illinois, born in Donaldson, Arkansas, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. O. Patterson and Zettie Davis Patterson; her husband Dr. Lloyd D. Jacks, II; her siblings, Herbert, Charles, Randolph Patterson, Geradine Barkhimer and Elizabeth Jennings; and her daughter Rose Marie Jacks.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd "Trey" D. Jacks, III of Camden, AR and Gena R. Jacks Diede (Tony) of O'Fallon, IL; and her grandchildren, Stacha Jacks-Hughes, Jacob Diede and Emma Diede. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has requested the memorials be made to St. Jude.
