He was predeceased by: his father Wheatley; and his wife Helen Courtin. He is survived by: his daughters, Chrissy Reavley (Pat) of Isabel, Cindy Wheatley (Tony Quinn) of Oakland and Danielle Ball of Charleston, Illinois; and his sister Norma Stepina of Paris, Illinois. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was happiest when enjoying a cold beer on his porch or spending time with his friends at the V.F.W.
