He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Dewinn and Nora Elizabeth McConkey (Taber); his wife Patricia Ann Elam; and his brothers, Bill McConkey and Ronnie McConkey.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hardin of Tuscola, IL, Robin Ray of Tuscola, IL and Dale McConkey of Oakland, IL; his grandchildren, Misty Manning (David), Jason Skinner (Amber), Joshua Addis, Alisha Shinn (Matt) and Holden McConkey (Kaila); his great grandchildren, Bryce, Michael, Emily, Dalton, Deacon, Jacob, Dylan, Kalen, Scarlett and Ruby; his sister-in-law Caroline Elam; and his niece Mindy Elam.
Robert Arthur McConkey, age 88, died Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
