He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clayton Samuel Shelabarger and Mildred Foster Shelabarger; his wife Deann Lutes of Oakford; his sons, Tim (Susan) of Springfield, Tracy of Round Rock, TX and Rod (Lilly) of Purcellville, VA; his grandchildren, Ashley, Amy, Julie, Lacey, Richard, Terrie and Luke; his great grandchildren, Layla and Arielle; and his siblings, Joyce Hootman of Palatine and Ed Edwards (Jenny) of Havana. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Oakford United Methodist Church.
