We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Alta Mae Lounsberry of Oakford, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph P. Reitzel and Alva M. Reitzel (Allen); her husband Herschel W. "Dewey" Lounsberry; and her son-in-law Larry Shoemaker. She is survived by: her children, Sue Shoemaker of Petersburg, Sally Treseler of Springfield, Beth French (Gary) of Petersburg, Jeff Lounsberry (Sharon) of Oakford and Eric Lounsberry (Valori) of Sherman. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Oakford United Methodist Church.
