With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Messenger of Northbrook, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pelz and Jeanette Pelz; her parents-in-law, George and Viola Messenger; her son Gary; and her brother-in-law Wayne Messenger.
She is survived by: her husband George L. Messenger; her children, Glenda Hutchinson (Bob), George and Greg Messenger (Sue); her grandchildren, Jason Hutchinson (Samantha), Dina Burch (Marcus), Laura Messenger (Scott Pollard), Andy Messenger (Abigail Bline), Maren Messenger and Jessica Messenger; and her sister-in-law Trudy Messenger. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
