It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Eugene Wamsley (North Pekin, Illinois), who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wamsley and Beatrice Wamsley (Lee); his former wife Connie Ferguson; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Backer; his children, Rodney Wamsley (Connie), Cheryl Gardner (Gary) and Rhonda Johnson (Leo); his brother David Wamsley (Nancy); his grandchildren, Chad Wamsley (Tara), Leigh Mason (Chad), Gregory Gardner (Jamie), Douglas Gardner (Delia), Connie Johnson and Bart Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Wamsley, Tristan Gardner, Josie Wamsley, Sofie Wamsley, Adrianna Gardner, Beaux Mason and Nolan Shapiro. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
