He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil H. Hartman and Gladys K. Hartman (Hackmann); his brother-in-law James Elsenraat; and his niece Melissa Elsenraat. He is survived by: his close friend Sarah Healy of Norris City; his children, Craig Hartman (Laura) of O'Fallon, Missouri, Chad Hartman (Jill) of Wentzville, Missouri, Kirsten Parr (Jason) of Rhineland, Missouri and Cody Hartman (Brianna) of Ft. Hood, Texas; his stepchildren, Dave Guyton (Jenny) of St. Louis, Missouri and Cristen Woolston (Colin) of Oregon; his siblings, Carol Elsenraat of Hermann, Missouri, Gary Hartman (Miranda) of Rhineland, Missouri, Mary Horstmann (Dennis) of Hermann, Missouri and David Hartman (Diane) of Hermann; and his grandchildren, Aislinn, Savanah, Danielle, Madeline, Kyra, Olivia, Brennan, Bailey, Will, Marissa, Ethan, Charlotte, Fen and Ani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and many friends.
Memorials may be given to Church of the Risen Savior Education Fund or St. George School.
