With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Griffith of Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James David and Annie Griffith (Acord); her brothers, Ed, Jackson Daley, William Baley, Rev. Frank and George Griffith; and her nephews, James, Gerald Griffith and Bob Henson.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Richard Griffith of Braidwood, IL, Joe Griffith (Cheryl) of Herrin, Dennis Griffith (Amber) of Norris City, Susie Hawkins (John) of Harrisburg, Anna Mae Henson of Broken Arrow, OK, Jan Griffith of Herrin and Brenda Griffith of Herrin; and her sister-in-law Ella Mae Griffith.
Guidelines for social distancing will be in place and masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the Norris City United Cumberland Presbyterian Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
