It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Dale Maynard of Norris City, Illinois, born in Shawneetown, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Maynard and Elizabeth Faye Maynard (Pritchard); and his siblings, Donnie, Bobby, Susanna, Talitha Jean, Bill, David, Clyde, Max and Herbert Eugene.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda F. Bryant; his children, Larry Dwayne Maynard (Tracy) of Paxton, IL and Kimberly Beard (Eric) of Salem, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Haley, Heather Haley, Lexi Beard, Jori Taylor Maynard and Kellyn Bailey Maynard; and his siblings, Earl Maynard of Gifford, IL, Vanda Turner of Norris City and Eileen Koberlein of Omaha. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to First Baptist Church in Norris City and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
