With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Riley Allen of Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Edith Allen (McKenzie); his wife Joyce Talley; his sister Lela Mae Bishop; and his daughter-in-law Melanie Allen.
He is survived by: his son Jim Allen (Jessica) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Allen, Jayden Allen, Jenna Allen and Troy Allen (Tonya) of New Market; his great grandchildren, Autumn Israel (Jesse) and Tori Allen; his brother Lonnie Allen of Loogootee, Indiana.; and also Sunday Israel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jim's memory to the American Cancer Society, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, who is in charge of arrangements.
