He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shepard and Helen Shepard; and his siblings, Roy Shepard, Frankie Reynolds, Evelyn Porter and Ray Shepard.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Shepard (Hayes); his children, Sandy Payne (Brad), George Shepard (Melissa) and Jack Shepard; his grandchildren, Alyssa Oglesby (Gabe), Krysta Mitchell (Dustin), Madelyn Shepard, Adyson Shepard and Holden Shepard; and his great grandchild Kai Oglesby.
