He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Conrad and Brenda Treadway; and his grandparents, Russell and Wilma Hammer. He is survived by: his parents, Edward Lester of Aurora, IL. and Delma Eileen Beale (Hammer) of Wonder Lake, IL; his wife Traci Beale of Calvin, IL; his children, Mia Mellecker (Blake) of Somonauk, IL, Emma Trajce (Dean) of Carmi, IL. and Justin Beale (Lisa Tomes) of Rockford, IL; and his grandchildren, Milo Edison Mellecker, Tristan Trajce and Blaire Kaci Mellecker.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ed's memory to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
