With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Akers (Norridge, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Stein (late Bob) and John J Akers; and his sister Mary Gray. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Derec Christopher (Joy), Scott (Lauren) and Lance (Alanna); his grandchildren, Mckinnon, Syra, Giuliana, Renner, Everly, Penelope and Remington; his siblings, Grace Adamski (Peter), Julie Cerone (Burton), Steve and Gary; and his godchildren, Mary, Steven and Kyle.
