She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paolo; her children, Angela Aliperta (Filippo), Nicola Diomede and Antonio Diomede; her grandchildren, Marco Aliperta (Amanda), Claudia Nelson (Matthew) and Rosanna Aliperta; her great grandchildren, Bradley J., William A. Aliperta, Layla Anna and Amelia M. Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Pasqua Ruggiero and Isabella Recchia. She was also cherished by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
