It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelly F. Maliwanag (Niles, Illinois), who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Abundio "Buddy" B. Maliwanag; her children, Alex Maliwanag (Vanessa) and Susan Hiertz (late Matthew); her grandchildren, Thomas, Payton and Kelly; and her siblings, Trinidad F. Andres (late Senobio), Senen Familara (Salud), Luzviminda Familara, Ruby Estigoy (Robert), Benedicto Familara (Emelda), Ateneo Familara (Myrna) and Oscar Familara (Charita).
