She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilmsmeyer and Bertha Wilmsmeyer (Baehr); her husband Fred Mugele; her children, Floyd Mugele and Donna Westphal; her grandson Patrick Mugele; her great grandchild Brandon Mugele; her siblings, Viola Garner, Erwin, Wilbert and Earl Wilmsmeyer; and her siblings-in-law, Louis Mugele, Stella Basler and Bernice Dakin.
She is survived by: her son Myron Mugele (Betty) of New Baden; and her children-in-law, Judy Mugele of Mascoutah and Dr. Mark Westphal of Carbondale. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ or Heartland Hospice and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover, New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
